“From Vietnam to Desert Storm, Charlie has seen up close the dedication and bravery of our men and women in uniform and as a decorated combat veteran, has seen the human cost of bad civilian leadership and flawed strategy in war. His perspective as a solider, teacher and family man is much needed today in government. Charlie’s family, like so many whom have made this country great, has a tradition of public service. His dad saw action in WWII; his wife was an Air Force nurse and his son, also in the Air Force, has just returned from his 4th rotation in Iraq. In voting for Charlie, Californians have an opportunity to turn things around now before it’s too late. To change politics-as-usual, we have to vote for someone besides the usual politicians.”
